Lake Geneva

It is only a 20 minute drive down to the lake, either on the French os Swiss side. Lots of picturesque places to visit such as Montreux, Villeneuve and Vevey.

We would recommend visiting the Swiss side as it has the most spectacular views towards the Alps.

The best way to start is to take a paddle steamer from Villeneuve, then maybe spend the sfternoon at the great outdoor pool with diving boards into the lake.

There are lots of "beaches", great restaurants serving fish from the lake, watersports, speed boat hire, water sports etc, or just take a stroll along the waterfront and see the statue of Freddie Mercury in Montreux for example.
