Mountain Biking

If you’ve ever fancied trying mountain biking, with your friends, or taking your family for the first time, but feel daunted by the task – let us sort it all out for you, from bike hire through to routes, guides and equipment.

The Portes du Soleil is Europe’s largest mountain bike area, with 24 lifts open in summer, 350km of marked single track, North Shore, dirt and trial zones, plus 4 bike parks.

There are numerous downhills, with 12 alone at Pre La Joux, and 2 world championship runs.

Morgins is a good base for the annual Passeportes du Soleil weekend at the end of June, with 3500 riders taking part.
